I'm a husband, father, writer, entrepreneur, teacher, friend, producer, volunteer, exerciser, and ex-Bostonian.
My wife, Isabelle, and I have lived in Marin for 29 years and raised two children who have gone through the Ross Valley school system and Drake High. Both of our children are now in college. Rusty is majoring in Theater Arts; and Brody is a Music major.
I know Marin intimately and all of its ins and outs. And I can walk the entire Ross Valley blindfolded. In fact, I've jogged through it so many times the trees bow in humble veneration as I pass.
My previous experience is in advertising and marketing, as a writer/producer of TV commercials, corporate video, and all forms of corporate communications. This has given me the specific skill set for the real estate business: great negotiating expertise, out-of-the-box creativity, nit-picking attention to detail, and the ability to schmooze with the best of them.
I've served on the Boards of the Ross Valley Community for Schools (now called YES), San Anselmo Preschool, Theater Artists of Marin, and the Jewish Vocational Service of SF, Marin and the Peninsula. And I've worked pro-bono for the Junior League of San Francisco, PBS, and United Way. I've also taught a few classes at the Academy of Art University in SF.
So what does all this have to do with real estate? It means I care about people, I know and love Marin, I have the expertise and skills to put together the right buyer with the right seller, and I work like crazy for every client to make sure it happens.
